What this website collects about you.

No contact form, no newsletter signup, no quote request, no account. Nothing on any page posts data anywhere. The only way to reach us from this site is to send an email from your own mail program, which you control.

No cookies of ours, no local storage, no session storage. Nothing we wrote reads or writes anything on your device. The one exception is the "Copy email address" button: if you press it, it puts our email address on your clipboard. That is the whole of what it does.

There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no LinkedIn tag, no advertising or retargeting code of any kind on this site.

The dropdown on the home page does exactly one thing: it pre-fills a line in the email your own mail program opens. It submits nothing, it is sent nowhere, and if you never press send in your own mail client, we never see it. If you close the tab, the answer is gone.

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare injects its own measurement script, static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js, into every page it serves. We did not write it and it is not in any file we upload. On 2026-08-25 we fetched the live pages ourselves and confirmed two things: that line is on every page the host serves, and it is in none of the files we send it. To be straight about ownership rather than pointing at a vendor: the measurement it feeds is enabled on our own account, we can switch it off, and if we do this page will say so. We read that script ourselves the same day. It sends a report to Cloudflare using your browser's background-send function, and that report includes the page you are on, the page you came from, your browser and device details, and how fast the page loaded for you. What Cloudflare does with it is governed by Cloudflare's own terms and documentation, not by ours, and we will not speak for them about it.

What we owe you is the other half of that answer, what we get from it, and we looked rather than guessed. We checked our host's dashboard on 2026-08-25. Our host labels it an automatic setup and shows it running since around the time this site went up in July, and the summary we read showed counts of visits and page views. We read that summary and not every breakdown behind it, so take that as the least of what we can see rather than the most. We can see it, then, and we are telling you so rather than leaving you to assume we cannot. We use it for one thing: knowing whether anyone is reading. We do not use it to identify you, and nothing on this site links it to your name or your email. We will not go further and promise you it could not identify you: this site is quiet enough that a visit arriving just after we send someone a link would not be hard to place.

Being straight about the limit: this is the only measurement script running on this site, the script belongs to our host, and the account it reports into is ours. If you want it gone before you browse, a content blocker such as uBlock Origin, or Brave's built-in shields, stops it. Most browsers do not stop it on their default settings.

The typefaces on this site load from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. To fetch them your browser makes a request to Google, which necessarily reveals your IP address and browser details to Google, the same as visiting any page that uses those fonts. We name it because a privacy page that omits its own third-party requests is not a privacy page.

Serving any page involves the host recording the request. We do not operate that logging, do not consult it, and have built nothing on top of it.

The example reports on this site are ordinary files. Downloading one is a request to the same host, with the same logging, and nothing else. The files themselves contain no trackers and phone home to nobody.

Your email address, your name if you sign it, and whatever you chose to write. It sits in our business mailbox, which runs on Google Workspace, so your message is stored on Google's servers the same way it would be with most businesses you email. That mailbox holds correspondence. It is not where survey or evaluation data from an engagement is held, which is a separate and stricter matter set out on our governance page. We use it to answer you and to keep track of the conversation.

We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or hand it to a data broker. We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not use it to build a profile or to target advertising, because we run none.

Write and ask what we hold about you and we will tell you, normally within 30 days. Ask us to delete it and we will delete it from our mailbox, normally within 30 days, unless we are required to keep it for a legal or contractual reason, in which case we will tell you the reason and how long we expect to hold it. Two honest limits: we cannot delete the copy sitting in your own sent mail, and our mail provider keeps its own copies in backups for a period we do not control.
